In January 20 as a part of the 6th youth leaders’ conference in Rivne there was a
rewarding of the best “New Hope” volunteers in 2011, involved in the preventive
lecturing in the Ukrainian educational institutions.
There were 3 volunteers who were recognized be the best and chosen among 48, who
participated in this program and sent reports about the lessons. They all are from
Rivne. At evening time pastors and youth leaders had a dinner together. Young people
had a good time listening to their mentors’ wishes and advices with a stress made on the
personal sanctification and importance to adopt the methods of more experienced and elderministers.
The rewarding of the best volunteers which was based on the last year’s results took place in the informal home atmosphere. There were 3 New Hope volunteers from Rivne and Rivne region who were recognized to be the best: Pavlo Matvijchuk, who lectured 2180 students, got the first prize - the laptop Lenovo; Myhaylo Stepchuk lectured 1434 students and got the pocket video camera Kodak; Snizhana Ohota lectured 1080 students and got the cell phone Nokia.
Besides every youth leader was presented with the manual on “No Apologies” program to work with youth.
